Ja'Net DuBois (born Jeannette Dubois; August 5, 1932 – February 17, 2020) was an American actress, singer, and dancer. She was best known for her portrayal of Willona Woods in the CBS sitcom Good Times, a role she played from 1974 to 1979.
Her career spanned several decades, encompassing television, film, and stage. Besides Good Times, she had notable television appearances in shows like Sanford and Son, Roots, The Love Boat, and Moesha. She also provided the voice for Mrs. Avery in the animated series The PJs, for which she won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance.
